What is included with my rental?
Your rental includes your meals & lodging, one meeting lodge and general use of the facility (sports fields, playground, hiking trails, and fire circles).

Is there a separate rate for children?
Children under 3 are free. Children 3 to 5 years of age are half price. Everyone 6 years old and up are full price.

Where are you located?
We are in the San Bernardino Mountain range of Southern California. We are about 2-1/2 hours from LA & San Diego and about 90 minutes from Palm Springs. We are conveniently located 1/2 hour from the Big Bear Ski Resorts.

How many can your facility accommodate?
We can hold up to 400 overnight guests or up to 500 day use guests.

Is there a minimum number needed to make a contract?
Our minimum contract is usually 20. Smaller contracts may be possible depending on availability.

Will there be other groups there with my group?
Generally there are multiple user groups in camp at one time. The layout of our facility allows each group privacy to do their individual programming and build community among their participants.

Can I rent the whole facility?
A guaranteed minimum of 300 is needed to take exclusive use of the facility.

What are the accommodations like?
Over twenty group sleeping cabins (most of which hold 16 people with 2 bathrooms) and six hotel-style VIP rooms allows for a maximum capacity of 400 overnight guests. All cabins are fully insulated and come complete with carpet, thermostatically controlled heat as well as generously-sized bunk beds.

Are tables and chairs included with the meeting lodge?
All meeting lodges come complete with carpet, thermostatically controlled heat, bathroom, tables, chairs podium and projection screen. Most lodges have a fireplace or wood stove. Firewood is available for a small rental fee.

What is the food like?
Our fare is hearty and nutritious. A salad bar is available for all lunches and dinners. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten & lactose allergies as well as other dietary restrictions can all be accommodated. See a sample menu or review what others have said about our food. Sack lunches, BBQ's and menu upgrades are available for an additional charge and with adequate notice.

What are the meal times?
Meals times are 8:30 am, 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm, except for Friday dinner which is at 6:30 pm to allow for Friday traffic. Exclusive use groups have some flexibility in meal times.

What type of weather can I expect?
Days on the mountain are usually sunny and pleasant. Spring/summer daytime temperatures may be in the 70's or 80's and the evenings in the 60's or 70's. Fall evening temperatures may dip down to the 40's as we get closer to the winter months. Snow may fall as early as late October and melt as late as early May. A typical snow season is from December to early March. Winter evening temperatures may dip down into the 20's or 30's, but daytime is pleasant because the sun shines strongly at this elevation. Up to the minute road & weather conditions may be obtained from this website.

What do I need to bring?
A suggested packing list is available on our website.

What is your elevation?
Our elevation of 7400 feet allows us to offer fresh air, mountain vistas and the gorgeous wooded acreage of the San Bernardino National Forest.

How are the roads?
The highway up the mountain is paved and well maintained. Road conditions from May to September are usually clear. From Nov. 1 to the end of April, snow chains are recommended. If you are coming in a bus, make sure the bus driver is carrying chains and knows how to put them on. Up to the minute road and weather conditions may be obtained from this web page.

Are pets allowed?
We do not allow pets of any kind except for Seeing Eye dogs.

Are there handicap facilities available?
Some handicap rooms & facilities are available.

What type of recreation do you offer?
Hiking trails, Campfire rings, Playground, Volleyball, Basketball, Ga-Ga courts and a multipurpose playing field for soccer or baseball are all included in your rental. Additional services including canoeing, kayaking, swimming, archery, and Ropes Challenge Course are available for an additional charge.

Can we bring our own snacks?
You may bring your own snacks which may be eaten outside or in your meeting lodge. No outside food is allowed in the main dining hall.

Do you have AV/Projection equipment?
A PA system (1 speaker and a microphone) is available for a small rental fee, on a first-come, first-serve basis. All lodges do come with a projections screen and a TV/VCR/DVD is available for rental.

Do you have Wi-Fi?
Unfortunately due to our remote location, Wi-Fi is not available in the camp.

How do I make a reservation?
Once we have a date and number of attendees, we can draw up a contract for your group. A signed contract and a 25% deposit are due back within 2 weeks. The remaining balance is due upon arrival.

When do I need to let you know my final numbers and other special requests?
Final numbers are not due until 2 weeks before your arrival and final payment is due upon arrival. Special requests such as Ropes Challenge Course, archery, lifeguards, etc. should all be made at least one month before your arrival so we can adequately staff and accommodate your requests.

What is your cancellation policy?
In the event a reservation is cancelled sixty (60) days or more prior to the event date, fifty percent (50%) of the deposit will be refunded. Any event cancelled less than sixty (60) days prior to the event will result in forfeiture of the total deposit. In either case, the forfeited portion of the deposit may be credited to a future booking to take place within twelve (12) months of the date of cancellation.

What if I have fewer people than noted on my contract?
You may lower your numbers until 30 days out from your event. Lowering your numbers less than 30 days before your event will result in a Failure to Meet Minimum charge. We suggest taking a non-refundable deposit with each reservation to help cover this assessment should it be applied. If your numbers drop below your contract price bracket, your per person charge may also increase.
