Alpine Meadows Retreat Center Policies

Our safety policies are in place to ensure all participants a fun and safe stay at Alpine
Meadows. Additionally, we need to adhere to the policies of the US Forest Service. An orientation will be given
to your group upon arrival to our site, but you as the coordinator, are responsible for making sure that all
attendees are informed of our policies in the event that they cannot attend the orientation. Those found in
violation of AMR polices may be not be allowed to stay for the duration of your retreat.

Insurance Requirements for your stay at Alpine Meadows Retreats
A general liability insurance policy for your organization must be presented at least 10 days prior to your arrival.
If your current policy is inadequate to meet the 1 million (Comprehensive, single occur)/$2 million (Aggregate)
stated in our Agreement, then we suggest you call your carrier and ask for a rider for the dates of the contract.
Please name Alpine Meadows Camp and Retreat Center & The US Forest Service as additional insured.
This Policy is not specifically for medical treatment. It is a liability policy required by the U.S. Forest
Service and our Insurance Company to protect us and the surrounding camps and forestlands from negligence and
malfeasance. If your organization does not currently have an umbrella liability policy, we ask that you
purchase one before attendance.

Sample Registration Forms
These forms may be changed as seen fit for your retreat purposes.
We strongly suggest that you have a section on your form for dietary requests.
We highly recommend collecting a non-refundable deposit with your registration to help cover any fees that may
be assessed due to last minute cancellations.
**Please note that the release waiver is merely suggested wording and that any legal or binding language should
always be reviewed by your legal department/person.

Health & Safety Forms
Alpine Meadows, asks that you have all this pertinent information on each attendee including leaders and
yourself. We look forward to your stay with us and want to help ensure a safe and fun event for everyone involved.
Some groups choose to make separate forms for leaders/counselors and one for campers/students/participants.
Health & Safety agreements need not be limited to a one sided page.
